Shafaq Naaz Early Life and Education
Shafaq Naaz was born on 7 February 1993 in Kota, Rajasthan, and raised in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. She comes from a Muslim family and is the sister of fellow actress Falaq Naaz, as well as brothers Sheezan and Sabeer.

After her parents separated, Shafaq and her siblings were brought up by their grandmother. She completed her schooling at St. Thomas English Medium School in Meerut. From a young age, Shafaq had a deep interest in dance and performance.

She trained in Kathak at the prestigious Saroj Khan’s Dance Academy, which played a pivotal role in shaping her artistic talents. Encouraged by Saroj Khan herself, Shafaq decided to explore acting and moved to Mumbai with her family to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

Shafaq began her acting journey in 2010 with a supporting role in the TV show Sapna Babul Ka… Bidaai. She then appeared in episodic roles on shows like Crime Patrol, Adaalat, and Fear Files, gradually making a name for herself.

Her breakthrough came in 2013 when she portrayed Kunti in the epic mythological series Mahabharat, which earned her widespread recognition and appreciation. She further solidified her place in television with her comic role as Mayuri in the popular sitcom Chidiya Ghar from 2014 to 2017.
