Bigg Boss 19 Episode 84 Highlights: Rohit Shetty Exposes Housemates’ Hypocrisy

The latest episode of Bigg Boss 19 witnessed high drama as filmmaker Rohit Shetty stepped in to host the show in Salman Khan’s absence. Salman is currently in Qatar for the Da-Bangg tour, and Rohit Shetty took over the weekend episode, delivering a powerful, no-nonsense session with the housemates.

Just a day after Shahbaz replaced Gaurav Khanna as captain and Gaurav lost his captaincy within an hour, Rohit Shetty addressed several burning issues in the house, including hypocrisy, favoritism, and recent evictions.

Rohit Shetty Teases Tanya; Says Khatron Ke Khiladi Will Return Next Year

On entering the house, Rohit Shetty jokingly teased Tanya Mittal, saying Salman Khan had personally sent him. When Tanya expressed that she’d like to work with him, Rohit humorously reminded her that his shows air across both TV and OTT platforms.

He added that every contestant in the house looks capable of entering Khatron Ke Khiladi and confirmed that although the show couldn’t return this year, it will definitely be back next year.

Taking a dig at Gaurav’s short-lived captaincy, Rohit said:
“Captain for an hour! I caught hold of him but couldn’t touch him.”

Why Do You Deserve the Trophy? Contestants Make Their Case

Rohit Shetty then asked housemates to explain why they deserve to win the show:

  • Kunika said she managed Jenzie well, built emotional strength, and took care of the house and its people.
  • Farhana claimed she deserved the trophy because she returned stronger after being evicted on Day 1.
  • Pranit said he has remained patient during tough moments and loyal to his friends.
  • Malti said she is humble yet strong and survived the season even after re-entering mid-way. She added that dealing with Farhana itself proves she deserves the trophy.

Rohit praised Malti, saying she thinks clearly and should play independently instead of aligning with people who take her for granted.

Praneet Questioned Over Abhishek Bajaj’s Eviction

Rohit confronted Praneet about eliminating Abhishek Bajaj while saving Ashnoor, even though he had earlier called Abhishek his priority.

Praneet defended himself, saying he had to choose someone who made decisions in line with the house’s needs and that Abhishek was often impulsive.

Rohit countered, saying Abhishek always had a strong personality and didn’t shy away from speaking his mind. To make matters more complex, when asked whom she would save, Praneet or Abhishek, Ashnoor took Abhishek’s name.

Rohit then told Ashnoor that she currently appears to be Gaurav’s shadow, similar to how Mridul was before. Kunika added that Ashnoor may not be in Gaurav’s shadow now, but she might end up there soon.

Rohit Calls Out Gaurav: “You Set Narratives”

When Rohit asked whether the present Gaurav is real or still acting, Gaurav insisted that he behaves with dignity and only raised his voice when his profession was targeted.

Rohit, however, said it appears Gaurav creates narratives that others simply follow.

Amal jumped in, accusing Gaurav of acting and misleading the audience. He also claimed Gaurav influenced Praneet during the nomination involving Abhishek.

Farhana added that even she didn’t appreciate how Gaurav reacted when she got nominated.

This sparked a heated fight between Gaurav and Amal.

Rohit Slams Amal and Shahbaz Over Bias Allegations

Rohit exposed that during the guitar task, Amal signaled Shahbaz to eliminate Abhishek, shocking several housemates. Amal accused Bigg Boss of being biased.

Ashnoor also complained that she could have become captain in Week 1, but Tanya influenced Kunika’s decision.

Rohit immediately shut down all biased claims, stating Bigg Boss never mentioned anything related to votes. Amal apologized, saying it was just a “feeling from the heart.”

Rohit reminded them that their rising followers were a result of the show, yet they keep calling it biased.

He also reprimanded Amal and Farhana for carelessly referring to women during arguments.

Tanya Questioned; Rohit Warns Gaurav and Kunika

Rohit confronted Tanya, asking whether she wouldn’t have wanted to become captain. When she denied it, Rohit called out her lie.

Shahbaz was asked whether he would lead independently or follow Amal’s instructions. Amal claimed he wouldn’t act as vice-captain and joked that he now seems “obsessed” with Tanya.

Rohit warned Gaurav to stay alert and avoid getting dragged into unnecessary narratives involving Pranit-Malti and Ashnoor.

He also scolded Kunika for questioning Malti’s sexuality on national television, firmly stating it was inappropriate and unacceptable. Kunika said she was concerned, but Rohit rejected her justification.

A Fiery Episode With Only Three Weeks Left

With just three weeks remaining, Rohit Shetty made it clear that the contestants need to wake up and stop playing blame games. His blunt interactions exposed several alliances, double standards, and hidden tensions reshaping dynamics inside the Bigg Boss 19 house.
