Bigg Boss 19 Episode 70 Highlights: Salman Khan Slams Contestants on Weekend Ka Vaar

The November 1 episode of Bigg Boss 19 began with host Salman Khan entering the stage with his usual charisma and intensity. This “Weekend Ka Vaar” turned into a stormy session as Salman confronted several contestants for their behavior throughout the week. From addressing the body-shaming of Ashnoor Kaur to calling out Shehbaz for invoking Sidharth Shukla’s name, the episode was filled with heated exchanges and emotional revelations.

Salman Khan Begins with the Ashnoor Controversy

Salman opened the episode by announcing that nine contestants were nominated this week, while three had managed to secure safety. Without wasting any time, he brought up the topic of Ashnoor’s body-shaming incident. He questioned Neelam and Tanya about their remarks on Ashnoor’s appearance. When Salman asked how Ashnoor looked, Tanya responded by saying that she looked like a princess. Salman then sarcastically added that it was good Ashnoor was in the house so Tanya wouldn’t miss her mother, asking how Ashnoor had suddenly become her “mother.” When Tanya tried to deny making such statements, Salman sharply reminded her that she even remembered her saree, so forgetting such words was unlikely.

Salman Exposes Neelam and Tanya’s Hurtful Remarks

Salman then confronted Tanya and Neelam for making insensitive comments about Ashnoor’s body. He revealed the words they had used, including “fat,” “elephant-like,” “Jurassic Park,” and “balloon.” The revelation left Ashnoor visibly emotional. Salman asked Tanya whether she was describing Ashnoor or herself, to which she quickly apologized. Salman cut her off, saying that she should apologize to Ashnoor, not to him. Tanya then apologized directly, but Ashnoor calmly replied that it didn’t matter, as Tanya already knew what she had meant.

Ashnoor Opens Up About Her Struggles

Ashnoor became emotional and shared her personal struggles with body image. She revealed that she had been dealing with hormonal imbalances since her teenage years, which caused her body to react to stress by swelling up. She said that there was a time when she had stopped eating and lost nine kilograms before entering the show. Despite her efforts, she explained that everyone’s body is different—some people lose weight under stress, while others gain. Salman, visibly upset, asked Tanya who gave her the right to judge others and reminded her that Ashnoor had shown far more maturity than her critics. He said that Ashnoor had proven she was not a child, whereas Tanya’s behavior reflected immaturity.

Kunika Questioned for Staying Silent

Salman then turned his attention to Kunika, questioning why she did not stop Tanya and Neelam during the incident. He reminded her that instead of intervening, she had added her own comment about her thirteen-year-old granddaughter knowing what to eat and what not to eat. Salman expressed his disappointment, saying that Kunika should have acted responsibly and stopped the conversation before it went too far.

Shehbaz Called Out for Using Sidharth Shukla’s Name

After addressing the body-shaming issue, Salman shifted focus to Shehbaz, who had recently used the late actor Sidharth Shukla’s name in the game. Salman criticized him for relying on Sidharth’s popularity, saying that Sidharth had made his own name through hard work and never needed anyone’s support. He told Shehbaz that his game was not even one percent of Sidharth’s and questioned whether Sidharth would have supported the kind of gameplay Shehbaz was showing. Salman ended the discussion by telling Shehbaz to stop depending on others’ fame and to build his own identity in the show.

Abhishek Reprimanded for Age-Shaming Kunika

Salman next addressed Abhishek for calling Kunika “Dadi.” When Abhishek defended himself, saying that she looked like a grandmother and was someone’s grandmother, Salman interrupted him. He reminded Abhishek that Kunika was the same age as him, and jokingly added that when Abhishek reached their age, he would understand the importance of respect. Salman further mentioned that Abhishek, being thirty-three, was old enough to be an uncle to his own niece and nephew, emphasizing that mocking someone’s age was not acceptable.

Abhishek and Ashnoor Scolded for Breaking Rules

Salman then turned to another issue, reprimanding Abhishek and Ashnoor for violating Bigg Boss rules. Their actions had resulted in the entire house getting nominated. He asked the contestants whether it was the fault of Ashnoor and Abhishek or Mridul, and the house was divided in their responses. Salman called their behavior arrogance and said that continuing after three warnings showed complete disregard for the rules. He reminded them that such defiance caused everyone in the house to suffer equally.

Salman Mentions Abhishek’s Ex-Girlfriend

Salman also touched upon Abhishek’s personal life, mentioning his ex-girlfriend. He said that the audience wanted to know what Abhishek and Ashnoor were discussing at the time of the incident, and since both refused to reveal details, Salman brought up his ex, saying that everything about them was already being discussed on social media. He advised Abhishek to handle his relationships with dignity and reminded him that his friends, Gaurav and Praneet, had always stood by him, yet he had failed to be a loyal friend in return.

Warning for Gaurav and Praneet

Salman then turned to Gaurav and Praneet, warning them about their choice of alliances. He told them that they were surrounded by people who were immature and impulsive, and such behavior could harm their own game. Gaurav agreed with Salman and said that he would be more careful in the future.

Salman Confronts Mridul Over His Decisions

Later, Salman questioned Mridul about his decision to save Abhishek and Ashnoor despite their mistakes. Mridul explained that everyone in the house made mistakes, but people seemed to enjoy theirs more. He said that if it came to nominations, he would have nominated them himself. Salman interrupted him, reminding him that Bigg Boss had warned him four times and that he had still gone ahead with his decision. Salman quoted a line from the movie Deewar, saying that counting others’ mistakes does not make one’s own mistake disappear. He added that even if Mridul won the show, people would not remember him by name because he had not made a strong impact. Salman concluded by saying that the most dangerous player in the game is the one who appears harmless.

Salman Concludes the Episode

Towards the end of the episode, Salman once again reminded all the contestants about the importance of integrity, respect, and individuality inside the Bigg Boss house. He told them that Bigg Boss was not about seeking sympathy or using others’ fame but about standing strong on one’s own merit. Salman then bid farewell to the contestants, leaving many of them thoughtful and shaken after his intense session.
