Cyrus Broacha Life And Education
On August 7th, 1971, Broacha was brought into this world by a Parsi father and a Catholic mother. He made his acting debut in a school production of “The Emperor Has New Clothes” when he was just five years old. He won awards for both English and theater for his performances and writings that were published in the annual school magazine. The Cyrus family is originally from Baruch, which is located in Gujarat.

He made his acting debut at age 12 in the Naseeruddin Shah starring Jalwa (1987), playing Archana Puran Singh’s younger brother. He began acting at age 5 in a school production of “The Emperor’s New Clothes.”
He previously wrote for the school journal and participated in school plays.
When he performed Brighton Beach Memoirs, his first professional production, in 1988, under Pearl Padamsee’s direction, the press dubbed him a child prodigy. He held an RJ job while in college. His television programs Bakra on MTV and The Week That Wasn’t on CNN-IBN have earned him a reputation as a practical joker.
In the animated movie Ramayana, he provided the voiceover work for the character Angada. He has interviewed nearly every cricketer while hosting a number of cricket shows, including the well-liked “Chevrolet Cricket Show” on Ten Sports.
